Brève note à l'attention des pouvoirs publics sur Maurice Satineau, député de la Guadeloupe, (1936-1940/42) et sa relation au Commissariat général aux questions juives (CGQJ) de 1940 à 1944, étant établi que le nom « Maurice Satineau » fut attribué en 1979 au collège de la commune guadeloupéenne de Baie-Mahault, établissement qui atteint en 2019 la date anniversaire de ses 40 ans. Il apparaît en conclusion que le nom de « Maurice Satineau » est associé à la politique antisémite de Vichy et à la responsabilité que cette autorité endossa dans la déportation et l’extermination.
Brief overview for the public authorities on Maurice Satineau, MP for Guadeloupe, (1936-40/42) and his relationship with the General Office for Jewish Affairs (CGQJ) from 1940 to 1944, being established that the name "Maurice Satineau" was awarded in 1979 to the college of the Guadeloupe commune of Baie-Mahault, which in 2019 reached its 40th anniversary. It appears in conclusion that the name "Maurice Satineau" is associated with the anti-Semitic policy of Vichy and the responsability that this authority shouldered in deportation and extermination.
